Good weather met 12 crews for the final round of the 2007 centre championship. 6 Experts and 6 clubman.
The round hosted by the Peveril MotorcycleClub consisted of 30 sections set out over 7 groups around the Baldwin valleys.

The expert class was led after the 1st group at Bims field by Gary Flowers/Anthony Smith and Adrian Beale/Jane Birchall both clean with Jonathan Kelly/Ealish Baxter on 1 and James Caine/Chris Molyneux on 2. Following the 2nd group Ballamoda Glen Beale/Birchall were ahead on 5 followed by Kelly/Baxter on 6 and Flowers/Smith on 8. The lead changed hands again after the 3rd group Booilshuggel with Kelly/Baxter on 12, Beale/Birchall on 14 and Flowers/Smith on 16. Following the 4th group Ballachrink Kelly/Baxter on 16 held onto the lead with Flowers/Smith on 23 just in front of Beale/Birchall 24. These position were held throughout the next 2 groups Creg-y-Cowin and West Baldwin Bridge Kelly/Baxter 34, Flowers/Smith 37 and Beale/Birchall 43. Back to Bims for the final 3 sections. Following these sections Kelly/Baxter, Flowers/Smith both finished on 37, the later pair being only ones to clean Bims both times. Beale/Birchall finished on 43. Flowers/Smith got the win over Kelly/Baxter on a count back of cleans. 15 to 14.

The clubman class was ran over the same groups of section with some deviations. The clubmans being led away from the 1st group by Dougie Christian/Kevin Watterson and Brian Bedford/Stuart Bedford both clean with Gerry Hannay/Paul Watterson on 6 with new partnership of Jason McNee/Hilary Swan on 7. Christian/Waterson extended their lead following the 2nd group dropped a single dab, Bedford/Bedford on 8, Hannay/Watterson 14. A heavy lost of 15 marks for Christian/Watterson at Booilshuggel let Bedford/Bedford back in on the action followed closely by Hannay/Watterson. Christian/Watterson got the bit between their teeth again and pulled away during the later sections of the day given them the victory on 49 over Hannay/Watterson on 68, Bedford/Bedford 78 with mountain bike man Elliot Baxter testing out his brothers wheels with Julie Owen in the chair in 4th place on 91.

Many thanks to all landowners, observers and officals and to Bim for the Barbeque.
